PANIC ROOM POSTER

This front cover is very dominant in its use of colour as only dark shades of red and black are used with a glimse of natural lighting shining on her face. Such stong/bold colours are used to give it a serious look and it looks as though the man at the back is an overpowering figure standing over the whole scene. The title of the film is clearly shown in red bold righting and like Saw 3 most of the writing is at the bottom apart from the the main charachter Jodie Foster who's name appears at the top.

A low anlge shot is used to create the atmosphere of the scence emphasising the dominance of the figure in the back as he seems to be looking down over everything. The clever use of the close up not only tells us its Jodie Foster starring in the film but moreover the look of stillness with her eyes wide open, still and frozen! This silent but chilling atmosphere reflects the genre of the film clearly setting the Thrilling image of darkness!

The names at the bottom of the front cover are there for mere reference and are quite unclear which avoids overshadowing the main theme of the font cover which is the image itself and its eye catching layout is what really attracts the audiences.
